Hey! I’m Emily Davis. I’m a musician and actor currently located in the midwest.
I have a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Indiana University. First and foremost, I’m a performer and love creating.
I love cross collaborative work with other musicians, I started a music series titled “Tipple & Tune” with a cocktail bar in town, Cardinal Spirits, in 2019 to benefit service industry musicians. I love developing new work (both musicals and plays), and creating opportunities for other performers. As an actor my favorite credits include The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods (IUST), Olive in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (ATI), Kate in Calling All Kates (BPP/ATF) and Amy in Company (IU). I’ve performed off-broadway, at Lincoln Center, and internationally in Florence, Italy. I’m currently writing three plays and a novel. Ask me about them sometime. I’m adjunct faculty at Indiana University teaching acting.
I also music direct, teach children’s theater, and co-own The Davis Academy of Music with my husband, Craig. I love vintage goods, run a lil’ online vintage shop and spend what free time I have creating. For a full performance resume or music director resume, click below.
